Water:

Clean water. The waves can be between 2-5 feet. Strong current.

Beach:

Very long and about 50m wide. Starting at Iguape and ending at Abreulandia at the other side of the river. Beach is clean.

Weather:
Sunny and warm, water 29°C and air 32°C, all year. Rainy season from February to June, but only rains shortly and then the sun is back.

Wind:

During November the wind average is between 12-25 knts. In the early morning the wind is sideshore. From 10:00am until sunset the wind slowly turns to sideonshore conditions, until is completely onshore at sunset. Best wind from July to January. February to June less days. Mostly used sizes 10-16 sqm. Less wind than in the North of Fortaleza. Sideshore NNW and SSE.

How to get there:

Pinto Martins airport (airport to location is about 23km) or fly to Fortaleza, which has more international flights. It´s some 15 kms from Fortaleza. There are buses very often due to the Water Park.

Rules & Restrictions:

Quiet strong current, which makes staying upwind not very easy.

Nightlife:

Good nightlife in Fortaleza.
