Water:
Very flat water, gets a bit choppier the further you are away from shore. Shallow areas.
Beach:
Lots of space around the lagoon, but can be narrow. Most space next to the sand dunes at the east end of the lagoon.
Weather:
Warm all year round. Not wetsuit needed.
Wind:
Daily wind from July to December. About 50% the rest of the year. Every wind direction works, but prevailing directions are easterlies, which are more consistant.
How to get there:
From Fortaleza get onto CE 040 and drive south. Pass Aquiraz, Pindoretama, Cascavel and get to Beberibe. Here follow signs to Sucatinga. After about 6km you will drive over a bridge crossing the lagoon. Get to its east end. Best is drive thru Sucatinga and then to the beach.
